The Honda CR-V is a popular compact crossover SUV that has been around since 1995. One of the reasons why it is known to drive so well is that it uses the Honda Civic platform. Performance
The 2019 Honda CR-V handles beautifully. Much of this is because of the 184-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine found within the base trim level. You can also enjoy a 190-horsepower turbocharged engine in the higher trim levels. Both will provide you with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Engineers have created a lightweight SUV that handles like a pro, allowing you to function well on winding roads and straightaways alike.
Interior
There are a total of four trim levels with the Honda CR-V, the LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring. You’ll be able to enjoy an EcoAssist system, automatic climate control system, remote entry, power side mirrors, and Bluetooth. You will also have a USB audio interface and plenty of cargo room thanks to 60/40 rear split seats that fold flat. If this seems like a lot of base features, you’re right. The Honda CR-V packs a lot into its base trim level and even more into the higher trim levels.
Safety
Honda is dedicated to keeping you safe on the rodes. You will have a multi-angle rearview camera. Honda Sensing is a suite of driver-assist and safety technologies that will help to prevent collisions. On the EX, EX-L, and Touring, it will be standard to have the Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation System, and Collision Mitigation Braking System.
