“ Have been a Honda customer at this dealership 14 years switch cars every 2 years purchased a 2026 Honda pilot , steering shakes on highway speeds when 70+, brakes are making noise when I back at incline and I still have less then 2100 miles on it , tried to have dealership address the issue and they told me that everything looks normal and that’s how these new pilots are they make noise … this will definitely be my last Honda if this is the quality they are coming with I traded my 2025 Pilot for the 2026 and had no issues with that and now regret my decision, I had to send the service adviser a video of the noise and he said will call me back , no call back , i called and asked for service manager to call me , service manager tells me bring it in and they need to do more test I asked for a loaner while they need the car he said there don't have any available and will call me when they have some , great customer service sir lets see if I get a call ”

“ Only chose 1 star because nothing less was available. Here’s my review from the horrifying experience we had at Pohanka this past Saturday July 11 2026 . I will never step foot in a Pohanka business again, and I am warning my family, friends, and the community to stay far away. Our salesperson was incredibly inexperienced, but we hung in there. The real nightmare began in the finance office. The finance guy tried to push a 6.75 interest rate on a new car, despite my tier-one credit score of 814. When called out, he claimed he "misread" a laminated paper sheet. It got significantly worse when he tried to mislead us about the warranty terms. Because it sounded dishonest, my girlfriend called the salesperson she bought her CR-V from three months ago to double-check. When she confirmed the finance guy was lying to us, he completely lost control. He stood up, started shouting, and was aggressively pointing and shaking his hand at us—mainly targeting her for making the phone call—demanding to know if we were calling him a liar. We immediately stood up to leave. Shockingly, he blocked the exit door and reached for the lock. My girlfriend was so terrified by his aggressive behavior that she was on the verge of calling 911. A credit approval employee finally stepped in to diffuse the situation so we could safely escape. We drove straight to the other dealership. Within an hour, we bought the exact same vehicle with the proper warranty and a better bottom-line price. Pohanka’s staff is poorly trained, highly unprofessional, and dangerous. Save yourself the stress and intimidation, and buy your vehicle elsewhere. ”

“ This Honda dealership is trash. I Call and ask them Hey can you guy cut a key for an 95 Acura integra. They say yes. I come to them and the Parts guy lazy saids no, after i call and they say yes. Honda and Acura is the same company if you didn't know. I wouldn't do business with this dealership. ”

I am changing it because a recent pricing experience seriously damaged my trust in the dealership. # Loyal Customer for Three Years Quoted Nearly $1,100 for Service Another Honda Dealer Completed for $675 For the past three years, I trusted Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg with the maintenance of my 2022 Honda Passport. While I was leasing the vehicle, I had a Honda maintenance and tire package. On several visits, the service department recommended additional work that they initially said would cost extra. After I reminded them that I had a comprehensive service package, they would tell me there had been a mistake. At the time, I dismissed this as typical dealership upselling because my overall experiences had otherwise been decent. However, things changed after I purchased my leased Passport and no longer had the maintenance package. This week, I contacted Pohanka for a quote on Honda Maintenance Minder Service B1236 for my 2022 Honda Passport, which has just over 50,000 miles. I expected the routine scheduled maintenance to cost a few hundred dollars. Instead, I was quoted nearly $1,100. That quote immediately raised concerns, so I contacted three other Honda dealerships for comparison. Every dealership quoted me less than $800 for the same B1236 service. I ultimately chose Short Pump Honda in Henrico, which initially estimated the cost at approximately $700. My final bill was $675 plus tax. Short Pump Honda provided prompt, professional, and transparent service. Paying more than $400 less for the same manufacturer-recommended maintenance speaks for itself. After the service was completed, I called my usual service advisor at Pohanka to express my disappointment. He asked me to email him a copy of the invoice so that he could share it with management. I appreciate his willingness to pass the information along, but it does not change the fact that Pohanka quoted me hundreds of dollars more than multiple competing Honda dealerships. What disappoints me most is that I considered myself a loyal customer. I serviced my vehicle at Pohanka for three years, purchased my Passport when the lease ended, and have been a longtime Honda and Acura customer. Customer loyalty should build trust not leave a customer questioning whether they are being charged a reasonable and competitive price. I am not writing this review out of anger. I am writing it to make other customers aware of my experience. I have previously left positive feedback for Pohanka because I believe in giving credit when it is deserved. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my opinion, and I can no longer recommend the service department with the same confidence. I hope Pohanka’s upper management takes this feedback seriously. A dealership’s reputation is built on trust, and trust is difficult to earn but easy to lose.
