Enjoy all of your electronics in one place on an 8-inch touchscreen in the Pilot. The Outlander only offers a 7-inch touchscreen. There are so many ways to listen to your favorite music in the Honda Pilot, including connecting up to Pandora®3. No matter which system you decide to use, you’ll hear it though a standard 7-speaker sound system. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to create your favorite music stations in the Outlander because it does not offer Pandora® on any of its models. You’ll also only have a standard 6-speaker audio system.
As if that weren’t enough, the 2017 Honda Pilot crushes the Mitsubishi Outlander in the performance category. A mighty 3.5L V6 engine comes standard in the Pilot. This impressive powertrain exudes 280 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. The standard 2.4L I-4 engine on the Outlander simply can’t keep up, as it only manages to produce 166 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque. Even the Outlander’s available 3.0L V6 powertrain only delivers 224 horsepower and 215 lb.-ft. of torque, so no matter which one you choose, you’ll be disappointed by the thrills.

“ Positive experience overall with Matt Aldaresi as my salesperson. He was very friendly, courteous, and not pushy or aggressive in trying to get my business. He spent plenty of time with me on the phone before I decided to make the drive to this dealership since it's out of my way. Very knowledgeable about the car I decided to buy, spent a good deal of time showing me how to use the console, and gave me ample test drive time to really see how to car would operate in certain situations. I got the price I expected given how much I planned to put down, so there weren't any unexpected surprises. The only thing I didn't care for too much was the confusion surrounding the three maintenance plans the Finance Department shows you before you find out what your monthly payment will be. The Finance person was great and I understand that she's simply following standard protocol; however, I didn't care for it. It reminded me of a blackjack dealer in Vegas quickly shuffling cards and playing a shell game. After you've been there for 5 hours and signed 100 forms, you're strategically presented with three maintenance plans without a bottom line explanation as to why. After listening to all three of these choices, then you're shown a new sheet that now suddenly shows that your payment plan will be based on which maintenance plan you choose. I think this should all be explained from the very beginning BEFORE the shell game begins. It felt designed to confuse and manipulate you into getting the most expensive package of all so you never have to worry about a thing. Up until the payment plan figures were presented, I had no idea why she was spending this exorbitant amount of time going over things like scotch guarding the seats and fixing scratches on the rims in the middle of transferring titles and contacting the DMV. I'm sure this is how Pohanka makes some extra money, but it would be better if you were told up front, "Let me show you our maintenance plans so you know how much your monthly payment will be." Interestingly enough, in the ENTIRE packet of very meticulously organized paperwork provided to me, nowhere in there was the sheet showing these payment plan prices. I'm guessing this means they don't want you to know exactly how these figures are determined. Again, very good experience but I'll remember this next time I buy a car from any dealer. ”
